Pumpkin Pizza

A culinary delight that combines the comforting flavours of autumn with the indulgence of a classic pizza.

This unique creation features a delectable plant-based crust, generously topped with a creamy pumpkin sauce, flavourful roasted vegetables, and a sprinkle of aromatic herbs.

Ingredients

​1 ball sourdough pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

70 g vegan feta

70 g vegan crème fraîche (or vegan ricotta)

100 g pumpkin (precooked, sliced)

100 g pears (sliced)

2 tsp pumpkin seeds

Fresh rosemary leaves

Extra virgin olive oilFlaky

Salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste

Methode
  1. Prepare the sourdough according to package instructions. Crumble the feta into small pieces, then combine with crème fraîche. Spread on the pizza base using a spoon, then add pears and pumpkin slices.
  2. Top with a drizzle of olive oil and pumpkin seeds, then bake for about 10 minutes according to package instructions. (I use the highest possible temperature on roast mode).
  3. Drizzle with some more olive oil and garnish with fresh rosemary leaves. Season with flaky salt and freshly cracked pepper. Enjoy!
