Chickpeas in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

500g canned chickpeas

3 tbsp tomato paste

2 cloves garlic

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tbsp olive oil

Water

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional:

Fresh rosemary

Methode
  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Place them in a medium-sized pot with the tomato paste, garlic, dried oregano, and olive oil. Cover the mixture with water and stir well.
  2. Allow the mixture to simmer on medium to high heat until the water has evaporated. Then, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Optionally, garnish the dish with fresh rosemary and crumble some vegan feta on top.
